Certainly, you can.
Your gifts will most likely
go directly to the monthly operating expenses which are surely needed. However, consider this. What if hundreds of small contributions were collected, then “dropped” on a project or new program they were attempting to start. Kind of like dropping a pebble into the water and seeing the ripples or throwing in a big rock and watching the splash it makes.
Fill out a grant application that is available on this website. A committee will meet to discuss the application and is responsible for vetting the application as to the alignment with I 2 I’s Mission Statement. Final approval of all grants is with the I 2 I Board.
No, but it does need to be consistent with Judeo-Christian values. See our Mission Statement.

Zero. Everybody involved with I 2 I is a volunteer. We welcome new committee members.
No, not for itself. It may apply for the benefit of an outside program or project where the church is providing volunteers or matching funds in an effort, to make a larger impact. A proper accounting of these monies is required.
No. I2I was created to impact the greater community.
Nothing prevents that. However, the overwhelming focus will be to the benefit of Chittenden County and Vermont.
Young Life – Chittenden County, Teen Challenge Women’s Center, Vibrant Church – for the benefit of Chamberlin School, Kids on the Ball, Sleep In Heavenly Peace, Chi Alpha, The Burlington Dismas House, ANew House, and Holy Hill.
Thank you. Those funds in all likelihood are used in total, to support their month to month operations. That is not what 121 is about. 121 was created to be a resource for those organizations to contact when they have new projects and programs but no funds to support their dreams. That hopefully lets them continue with their primary function and not have to divert time and resources to fund raise.
